HUSSEIN CHALAYAN FALL/WINTER10 – ROADTRIPPING

For Fall/Winter 2010 legendary British designer Hussein Chalayan takes us on an unexpected roadtrip through the USA. The collection travels from New York where the styles are long sihouettes of black blazers to Pennsylvanias Amish country to Utah in beige trenchcoats and earth toned capes. Next he takes us to Texas+New Mexico with bright reds+purples shown in detailed embellished coats and accessories. The final destination of Hollywood could not be mistaken with long embellished gowns and large “Mirage” sunglasses. Throughout the collection beautiful images of “Highway 69″ and the Starry Night Sky tie everything back together.

Thanks to all our friends; Nicki+Alisun, Ed who missioned from Westhampton to show his girls a good time, Davis and Lizzie Grubman (not that Lizzie), Phillip Chartouni who is looking very debonair these days (Jet-setting and Globe Trotting is a good look for him), Genny Eides who tore into the parking lot bumping music in her whip….Summer’s almost over, im starting to ramble on….come thru!
