Shepard Fairey created a new limited edition OBEY t-shirt in commemoration of the late great Keith Haring, which will be given out to those who assist in the fight against AIDS. The shirt features a portrait of Haring by Patrick McMullan in true Fairey style. See the photograph below on exhibition at Blue&Cream on The Bowery.

OSCAR STYLE

Since the first televised ceremony in the early 1950’s, the Academy Awards have continued to captivate a global audience for their recognition of the years finest films, but also for showcasing couturiers best designs- a forecast of the seasons top trends. This year we saw a huge homage to nude/lingerie inspired gowns, florals, ombre, pastels, and of course sequins.

We admit to our guilty pleasure of being glued to E!’s best and worst dressed programming while simultaneously scouring the pages of the weekly tabloids to see which starlets and designers will be revered as hot (or not) for the year to come. Of course, everyone has their personal favorites, we feel each of these leading ladies embodies fashion forward trends without losing an ounce of classic Hollywood glamour.
