#NYFW RUNWAY ROUNDUP – RAG&BONE

Saturday, September 17th, 2011
Electric Blue and Sunkist Orange took their turn on the Rag&Bone runway once again for Spring 2012 but this time they had a renewed light and airy twist. Taking for example to knitted sweaters that made us think of sunsets and oceans. Beautiful printed silks and the usual To Die For Footwear had us feeling sad that summer is over and we have to last through a brutal NYC winter in order to jump into these must-haves. If only we could fast forward time…

#NYFW RUNWAY ROUNDUP – 3.1 PHILLIP LIM

Saturday, September 17th, 2011

A sorbet of pastels felt fresh, airy and right on trend for 3.1 Phillip Lim. After the show the designer sited his inspiration as “sophisticated youth” which could not define the Blue&Cream aesthetic more. Our personal favorites- the sexy and chic v-neck mini dresses and the sorbet pastel color palette that opened the show. The only negative – having to wait until next spring to have these pieces in our wardrobes.

#NYFW SPRING 2012 RUNWAY ROUNDUP – CHARLOTTE RONSON

Saturday, September 17th, 2011
New York Fashion Week would not be complete without a runway roundup from our favorite designer and bestie Charlotte Ronson. See highlights from her runway show at Lincoln Center below. We love the color palette of pastels, ombres and fresh florals.

SIMON SPURR SS12

Monday, September 12th, 2011
In an increasingly crowded field of Fashion week front rows, Simon Spurr brought out a diverse representation of NYC’s present Mens fashion culture. Ed Westwick, if he likes it or not, represents NYC’s privileged under 25 set as a result of his key role on Gossip Girl even though he shakes off that rich kid moniker to represent the Brash brit ashore in the US look for his own personal style. Brad Goerski covers West Chelsea and everywhere else that men are wearing Thom Browne short pants and carrying totes, while B&C Fam Bryan Greenberg reps the NYC “guy’s guy” and ofcourse Carmelo Anthony, who is a style icon for everyone else.

STAR ON BOWERY

Sunday, September 11th, 2011
DAMN it feels good to be back in NYC and during #NYFW especially. The streets are teeming with energy and while the weather is still gorgeous, everyone on the Bowery is flaunting their style. One of the best Star tattoo’s we have seen to date walked in the store this Sunday. Georgia, the canvas of this great tricep art got the work done back in a suburb outside of London…
