For all of those true New Yorkers living in the city in the 1980’s you remember the ubiquitous CHECKER CAB. Known for a unique pop-up back-seat adored by kids, and the checkered exterior markings, today there are none left in service. But, if you’re lucky enough you can catch a glimpse of this endangered species on the streets. Check out this last of a dying breed posted up in front of Blue&Cream on the Bowery this past weekend.
