November 11th, 2008 Blue&Cream Celebrates its 1 Year Anniversary on The Bowery with a Patrick McMullan Photography exhibition. “The Big Picture” features iconic images from the 1980’s of Madonna, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Tom Ford, Halston and many more. The show will be on exhibit at Blue&Cream through the holidays.

September 3, 2008 After an amazing summer in East Hampton, we had to give a proper welcome back to the Bowery store with the perfect collaboration of art and fashion. Daniel Siboni launched his Urban City II collection which consisted of huge NYC scenic photographs on metal, they were truly a treat to the eye. In addition, we held a special showcase of Unknown Factory denim which the designers on-hand to give styling tips. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome home celebration.

September 18, 2008 Blue&Cream hosted a private shopping event to raise awareness about an amazing school, Harmony Heights, which provides boarding, education, and therapy for troubled teenage girls in Long Island. Guests enjoyed hors d’ouevres, cocktails, and raffles. They also got first access to Blue&Cream’s summer sale and fall preview. A percentage of proceeds went to benefit Harmony Heights. Blue&Cream had a lot to celebrate this weekend – Memorial Day, the start of summer 2008, and most importantly, our five-year-anniversary. We kicked it off with an Unruly Heir trunkshow and the launch of the Timo! For Unruly Heir collection. The event was hosted by a slew of VIP family and friends including Maggie Rizer, Carrie Cloud, Annabelle and Alexander Dexter-Jones, Kristian Laliberte, Liam McMullan, Alexandra Richards, and Leven Rambin. Guests enjoyed free ice-cream cones and a gift with purchase. The party didn’t stop there, everyone headed over to new hot-spot Lilly Pond to continue the celebration.

For all those who regularly visit the site and have been disappointed to find virtaully no updates for this entire summer- WE APOLOGIZE. I’ve been too busy Hustling every day in East Hampton trying to keep the dream alive…but now that our busy season is over- come back soon and look for pics and gallery updates from this past summer’s events…Summer 2008 was on another level- celeb visits , Russell Simmons Lamping, and lots of new Family+Friends.

Up-and-coming tee-shirt companies, Create and Duane, hosted their summer showcase at Blue&Cream. The guests cooled off with free ice-cream cones by Mister Softee and enjoyed cocktails by Svedka and OSO as they listened to the beats of a DJ entertaining the crowd. Those who attended got to view the latest collections by the designers and enjoyed a special discount on the pieces.

Blue&Cream launched its newest gallery exhibit, the photography of John Jaxheimer. Art buyers, family/friends, and artist loyalists all came to view the work, which features unique photographic perspectives on various environments in Eastern Long Island. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as they chatted with John about his creative vision. The exhibit will be on display through July 25th at Blue&Cream Bowery.

The American Heart Association’s Junior Council hosted their summer kick-off at Blue&Cream. For this invite-only shopping event, guests sipped champagne and snacked on ice-cream as they scoured the racks. A percentage of proceeds for the evening went to support the American Heart Association.

Blue&Cream teamed up with the Children’s Rights Junior Council and Lucky Magazine to host Cocktails+Clothing+A Good Cause. Guests partook in a silent auction and shopping this season’s hottest styles with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Rights Organization. Designer Charlotte Ronson created a limited edition tee-shirt design as her donation for the event, which flew off the racks as soon as guests arrived. To thank them for their support, attendees enjoyed gift bags, hors d’oeuvres, cupcakes, and cocktails. Celebs including Rosario Dawson, Ms. Teen USA, and Taryn Manning came out to shoe their support for a great cause.

On May 20th, Blue & Cream hosted an exclusive showing of Carlos Souza’s Most Wanted Design Jewelry collection. The stunning pieces inspired by Brazilian and Buddhist concepts are unlike any other designs. Carlos brought along many pieces of his personal collection for display and discussion. Guests, which were close friends and family of the designer along with many press personnel, enjoyed champagne and a beautiful floral display. A lovely and intimate dinner followed the event at Bette.
